Making Good Men Better in Houma, Louisiana.

How Did it Come to This?

    Brothers of BCC,

Recently I posted  a blog on this website that I probably should have used better judgement on.  While I don't apologize for my views I will offer an apology for the "edge" on the comments.  I have fought hard to have this website taken seriously, and it was never my intention to discredit the site by negative energy.  The comments that were placed in this blog were mine and mine alone and I don't wish for other brothers to feel any backlash for my actions.

I am excited,  however, that brothers have finally started visiting the site, even if it was because of something nonconstructive.  I would hope that brothers continue to view this forum and hopefully we can use this as an instructive tool.  It is not my intent to divide the brotherhood.  I love the craft and hope to grow and prosper with my brothers.  I have no ill will towards any brother, regardless of what is being said.

I welcome comments from all brothers on all posts.  You wiil find that none of the other posts are negative.  As a matter of fact, there is alot of knowledge here.

My number is 504-275-9564 if any brother wants to talk.

Bro. Welch

Well said Brother Welch on both accounts. There seem to be a lot of discontent among the Brothers. But i don't feel that it is Masonically related. I think that it is bleeding over into the Lodge, when in reality it shouldn't. Let's get the" BROTHERHOOD" back to where it should ans need to be!

Brothers,

I'm disheartened by the notion that you all are not receiving the amount of "light" you hoped to obtain when you were raised not too long ago. I do, however, question the way you all choose to "vent" your frustration in regards to this. As a veteren Brother (10 years), I'm sorry I haven't been exposed to your disappointment so that I could assist in trying to remedy why you feel the way you do. The very first thing I would like to "suggest" is that this website should not be a place to air BCC's "dirty laundry." I do find most of the information on here very valuableand applaud each and every one of your efforts to keep it current and reliable. My problem, though, is that we should be able to sit down together as a group (face to face) and state our opinions on any and every issue that comes through BCC. BCC is a very diverse lodge which is GOOD as well as BAD. We should not have a split between these so called cliques in the lodge. Sure we all feel a little more allegiance toward the guys we were raised with, but at the end of the day we are ALL BROTHERS. My purpose for posting this is so we can meet together hopefully soon and "specifically" explain our disagreements. I ask that all brothers that read this post will suggest a time and place where we can accomplish this task. I am a school teacher so I am off unitl after the New Year. I encourage EVERYONE'S participation.
